The Delavan Lake Yacht Club is a family oriented voluntary sailing and social organization dedicated to the advancement of sailing. Since 1892 we have provided a location for competitive and cooperative spirit through this sport. As respected members of the local community we promote conservation of the natural asset of Delavan Lake, Wisconsin. As a member of several yachting associations we promote the advancement of interlake sailing competition. In coordination with Delavan Lake Sailing School, we promote the enhancement and training of sailing through the education of our membership.

Kingston, Ontario, Canada July 12-21, 2007. The waters off Kingston offer some of the best fresh-water sailing in the world. Located at the eastern end of Lake Ontario and the head of the St. Lawrence River, the combination of land mass, islands and thermal effects produce excellent wind and wave conditions with very little current. Winds during July are predominantly from a south-westerly direction, with an afternoon wind range of 10-15 knots. Water temperature will vary between 18 to 22 degrees (Celsius) with normal air temperature being 25 to 35 degrees. Daylight hours will be approximately 16 hours per day.
