America’s Cup Challenger Playoffs Postponed, No Wind:
Hamilton, Bermuda (June 4, 2017) – The beautiful Bermudian sunshine was out in full force for Sunday’s scheduled first set of races in the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup Challenger Playoffs, but unfortunately the required winds for racing were not.
America’s Cup Race Management (ACRM) confirmed just after 4.00pm ADT that the four scheduled Louis Vuitton America’s Cup Challenger Playoffs races planned for Sunday, June 4th, had to be postponed until Monday, June 5th as the winds across the Great Sound were below the minimum six knot limit America’s Cup Class (ACC) boats compete in.

Finn World Masters kicks off in Barbados:
Bridgetown, Barbados (June 3, 2017) – Each year the Masters, the Grand Masters, the Grand Grand Masters and the Legends of the Finn class sail a World Championship called the Finn World Masters. The 2017 Finn World Masters Championship is being held June 2-9, 2017 in Barbados, the first time it will be sailed in the Caribbean and only the second time outside Europe. Eight races are scheduled, over the next 5 days, comprising a fleet series and a medal race or final race. 138 sailors from 21 countries are entered. Practice racing starts today. Full Report.
