Make sure your hand brake is pulled. The last thing you want is your car to start rolling away while your working on it! or even worse it could roll you over!
Never work on your car when the engine is on. This seems obvious but some might make this very dangerous mistake and decide to take a look at the engine while its still making the funny noise.
Don’t wear jewelry. Necklaces and other pieces of jewelry will easily get damage when working on a car take off anything expensive as it will get dirty.
Keep a fire extinguisher around at all time. You never know when you might need it. It’s a basic safety item that everyone should have.
Work in a well ventilated area. Don’t work on your car inside a closed garage. You need fresh air. Breathing in gasoline and other chemicals over an extended period of time is not good for you.
