Applications open for Adaptive Boat Grant Program:
North American community sailing programs and other sailing organizations aimed at expanding opportunities for sailors with adaptive needs are encouraged to apply for the 2017 Clagett Boat Grant Program. On offer will be up to two 2.4mR boats with sails and trailer race ready. The deadline for applications for this boat grant is November 30 2017. Details.

College Fall Nationals begin in Florida:
The 2017 College Sailing Singlehanded National Championships on November 4-5 will be hosted by St. Petersburg Yacht Club and University of South Florida St. Petersburg at St. Petersburg, FL
The top 18 men and top 18 women singlehanded college sailors have qualified, based on quotas, through the seven national conferences and will compete in provided new full rig Lasers (men) and Laser Radials (women) on Tampa Bay.
