Hamilton, Bermuda (October 18, 2015) – After racing was cancelled on Saturday due to a lack of wind, it was all on today at the America’s Cup World Series as the six teams competed on the Great Sound for a one day shoot out. And it was Artemis Racing, which had struggled at the bottom of the standings in Portsmouth and Gothenberg, that grabbed the lion’s share of the spotlight.
The host venue of Bermuda was also shining bright, offering up perfect racing conditions, a large but controlled spectator fleet, and an enthusiastic public. It was a tremendous opening event in the home of the 2017 America’s Cup.
