Britain Wins Laser Radial Woman’s Worlds:
Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico (April 20, 2016) – Alison Young (GBR), who entered today in third overall, posted a 5-1 to win the Laser Radial Woman’s World Championship. Paige Railey (USA), who held a four point lead over Young going into the final race, finished second by one point with Anne-Marie Rindom (DEN) seven points further back in third. Two-time World Champion Marit Bouwmeester (NED) entered the day in position to win but a 19-3 dropped her to fourth place. Full report.

France’s Olympic hopefuls will be aiming to sign off before the Rio 2016 Olympic Games with a bang on their home waters at Sailing World Cup Hyères. Billy Besson and Marie Riou in the Nacra 17 and the RS:X racers, Pierre Le Coq and Charline Picon, have enjoyed significant success in the Rio 2016 quadrennial and are viewed as firm favourites at Rio 2016.
