Sardinia, Italy (October 8, 2019) – The Melges 24 World Championship 2019 began today with a medium-light breeze from the northern quadrants for the opening three races that resulted in the Andrea Pozzi’s Italian team onboard Bombarda to take the lead with a 5-6-2. But Pozzi’s lead is just one point ahead of the Estonian entry Lenny of Tõnu Tõniste, second overall while also the top Corinthian team. Full report.
