Final four at WIM Series Sweden:
Lysekil, Sweden (August 11, 2017) – After the round-robin stage of the Lysekil Women’s Match advanced yesterday the top four to the Quarter-Finals, the repechage round-robin today would select the next four teams from the remaining group of seven teams competing in this second event on the 2017 Women’s International Match Racing Series (WIM Series).
On the waters of off Släggö Island in Lysekil, on the beautiful Swedish west coast, the westerly winds and the bright sunshine continued today to offer sailors and spectators excellent conditions.

Robertson dominant at Extreme Sailing Series Hamburg:
Hamburg, Germany (August 11, 2017) – In tough conditions on the River Elbe, Oman Air out-sailed its rivals to gain a six-point lead, with the rest of the fleet separated by a narrow two-point margin, after the first day of scoring racing at the Extreme Sailing Series™ Act 5, Hamburg, presented by Land Rover.
After light winds and strong tide prevented racing yesterday, today was only marginally better to permit just two races were completed while three others were abandoned. For the two keepers, Phil Robertson’s Oman Air, who won in Hamburg last season, was victorious in both.
