Toulon, France (October 10, 2018) – The final showdown between the flying catamarans competing on the 2018 GC32 Racing Tour is held October 11-14 off Anse Tabarly-Plages du Mourillon. With strong easterly winds forecast, the GC32 crews face the toughest challenge of the season. Many of Zoulou’s crew competed here at the America’s Cup World Series event two years ago aboard Franck Cammas’ Team France. Currently Zoulou lies third overall on the leaderboard, but her position is under threat. Kiwi sailors recognized for service:
(October 10, 2018) – Top Kiwi sailors Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have been made Members of the New Zealand Order of Merit, an order of chivalry in New Zealand’s honours system. The Olympic gold medallists and America’s Cup-winning pair were made members for services to sailing, during an investiture ceremony today at Government House in Auckland. Full report….
