Freides Wins Battle, Kilroy Wins War:
Miami, FL (March 6, 2016) – Twenty-five teams competed in the Melges Rocks Regatta (March 4-6), the final stop of the three-event Miami Winter Series. Finding themselves outside the top ten after day one, Drew Freides’s team of Morgan Reeser and Charlie Smythe were low-point crew on day two and three to climb the standing and win the event. Finishing 11 points back in second was Liam Kilroy, who was the overall winner of the Winter Series. Full report.

Chris Bake’s Team Aqua Wins RC44 Bermuda Cup:
(March 6, 2016) – A last minute charge from Vladimir Liubomirov’s Bronenosec Sailing Team was not enough to displace Chris Bake’s Team Aqua from the top of the leaderboard at the conclusion of the RC44 Bermuda Cup, the first event of the Sir Russell Coutts-conceived one design’s 10th anniversary season.
