Good start for Mixed Offshore Europeans:
Venice, Italy (October 9, 2019) – After light winds yesterday cancelled the In-Port Race of the inaugural EUROSAF Mixed Offshore European Championship, the seven national teams began today the offshore segment which has them racing two nights at sea before the race finish in Trieste on October 11. All teams are using the L30, a 30-foot one design monohull selected for World Sailing’s Offshore World Championships in 2020.

New leader at Snipe Worlds:
Ilhabela, Brazil (October 9, 2019) – Day two of the Snipe World Championship was very similar to day one, with cloudy skies and the threat of rain, resulting in just one race but a new overall leader. After four general recalls before the actual start on the fifth attempt, there were many casualties which received starting penalties, but surviving the melee was Luis Soubie with Diego Lipszyc (ARG) who won the race and now leads overall.
