Governor’s Cup Invitation Deadline Approaches:
Three former winners will be racing in the 50th Balboa Yacht Club‘s Governor’s Cup International Youth Match Racing Championship to be held July 19-23 in Corona del Mar, CA. Sam Gilmour, Perth, Western Australia; Nevin Snow, San Diego, California; and last year’s winner, Harry Price, Sydney, Australia have committed to be among the 12 skippers selected. Gilmour is currently ranked 5th in the non-age limited World Sailing “Open” rankings with Snow at 16th and Price at 30th. Full report.

Australia, Norway win Paralympic Classes at Sailing World Cup Hyères:
Hyères, France (April 30, 2016) – At the Sailing World Cup Hyères a duck was broken as Australia’s Matthew Bugg got his maiden international event win in the 2.4 Norlin OD. In the Sonar class, Norway took the gold away from an up and down regatta for the team on the French Riviera.
