Light Winds Continue at J/24 Worlds:
Wakayama, Japan (September 22, 2016) – Daniel Frost’s German team on JJOne placed seventh in today’s only race, but holds a firm advantage heading into the finale tomorrow of the J/24 World Championship. Two Japanese teams – Keiji Kondo’s Fox and Demichi Kousuke’s Ichimokusan – are tied on 25 points, 12 points off the lead.
The 41 teams were postponed onshore today for three hours, waiting for the wind to fill in. When it did at 6 knots, Tomomi Hatekeyama’s Gekko Diana (JPN) won the sixth race, trailed by Vladimir Borsthar’s Singapore (SIN) and Kousuke’s Ichimokusan.

Cascais, Portugal (September 21, 2016) – With a five win-one loss record in the match racing on the RC44 Cascais Cup’s opening day, Torbjörn Törnqvist’s Artemis Racing has pulled up on to the same points as Team Nika, overall leader in the RC44’s match racing championship for 2016. Full report.
