Traditional East Coast Lobster Boil Join us for the Inagural Angel Island Lobster Feed. You asked for it.. we are delivering… Over the years many of our loyal guests have asked for an opportunity to experience our famous Angel Island Lobster feed as a public event. On October 22, 2016 SF Bay Adventures and the crew of FREDA B are throwing a public version of our private Traditional lobster feed. Step aboard Freda B in downtown Sausalito where you will be greeted with a mimosa and a variety of fresh baked morning pastries. Cruise to Angel Island and take in the fresh salty morning air. Arrive Angel Island and take a short hike, lay in the grass, dip your toes in the shores of Ayala Cove, watch the chef's prepare your lunch, or just take in the views. When lunch time rolls around at 11:30am be prepared to dawn a bib and eat with your hands like children at this community style lunch. Sip California wines and beers while you slurp down lobsters, shrimps, artichokes, corn on the cob, red potatoes,whole garlic, sausages and sour dough just the way you would expect it back East. Come Strangers but leave friends.. This is a very social and fun event. Afternoon Sail includes Organic Taylor Made Farms Coffee with Straus Cream and fresh baked Sticky Ginger Cookies from our friends at Bump City Bakery. Itinerary 9am boarding Freda B downtown Sausalito mimosa and pastry reception 10am arrive Angel Island 10-11:30am enjoy a short guided hike, dip your toes in the water from the shores of Ayala Cove, lay in the grass.. 11:30am get your bibs on, your lobster lunch is being served 11:30-1pm enjoy lunch! 1:15pm return to board schooner Freda B 3 pm back to dock in Sausalito Tickets include: sail aboard schooner Freda B, traditional East Coast lobster boil, all beverages, island entrance fees, guided hike and dessert. * Gratuity is not included and is always appreciated. If you would like to leave a gratuity for our hard working crew and chefs please do so at the end of the trip back at dock and in cash. FREDA B is a Traditional Gaff Rigg Coastal Schooner. Build along the same lines as the ships in the mid 1800's that served the East and West Coasts of the USA. She is known for her comfort, stability and hospitalty.
