Summer is on and yacht clubs across the USA are having their twilight series. These races are either windward leeward courses or random leg, but none the less it’s still sail boat racing. Weekday racing can be used to hone critical racing skills that are used during weekend regattas. Below are three things to do during the week to help improve your weekend regattas prowess.

Atlantic Cup: One stage to go:
All Class40 teams have now finished the second leg of the Atlantic Cup, enduring a brutal 360nm passage from New York City to Portland, Maine. After winning both offshore legs, the French/Italian team of Eärendil tops the leaderboard with Boston based Toothface 2 and Amhas of Portland tied on overall points in second place. The third and final leg, an inshore series in Casco Bay, will be sailed Saturday and Sunday, June 9th and 10th. Full report.
