Max Conditions at Farr 40 Worlds:
Porto Cervo, Italy (July 14, 2017) – Being patient paid off at the end of the second day at the Rolex Farr 40 World Championship, but it was a long day of waiting, both on the part of the teams and on the part of the Race Committee, for the strong Mistral breezes to die down.
The Race Committee kept a close eye on the situation in the hopes of getting a race in. Finally at 5:00 PM, in the warm light of the late afternoon, the Farr 40 fleet headed out of port. The winds were at about 23 knots but built during the race making the competition a real thrill both for the teams participating and for the spectators watching the Farr 40s planing downwind at up to 20 knots.

Traveling in cities can be one of the most exciting things that we can do if you know where you are heading to. For some people they will not realize that one of the best places to see during any of your trips to various cities would be the zoo. I know that one of my favorite stops in Cincinnati is the zoo and one of the most particular exhibits would be the Gorilla World exhibit that allows you to view some of the Gorillas, and other animals in a great setting that you will love.
The first reason why I like being able to see the exhibit here is that I am able to see the wide variety of animals in a small area. Instead of having to wander around a large area I am able to find a small area that lets me view them at one time. I know that for me I do not like having to walk from one end of a zoo to the other to see a related animal. So that is a nice feature here.
The second reason that I love being able to visit the Gorilla world exhibit is that you can see some of the creatures by using the items that you put a few coins into and they allow you to see the animal just like using binoculars. Which is nice because you can see even more of the features that are on the animals and enjoy your time even more.
The third great thing about this exhibit is that you can typically find a volunteer or keeper close by that is going to be able to answer your questions about the animals. Which is very nice because then you are able to learn even more about the animals than what you can just by observing them and reading the plaques with descriptions.
While traveling to a zoo is always a fun thing to do when you are in a new city. The amount of animals that you can see is always new and different than what you are used to.
