New leader at Star World Championship:
Porto Cervo, Italy (June 18, 2019) – Uncertain conditions at the beginning of the second day at the Star Class World Championship gave way to typical Sardinian breezes later on and the day’s racing got underway about an hour late.
There are still four races to go, but after today’s race the provisional scoreboard has changed as Polish skipper Mateusz Kusznierewicz (above) moved from sixth to first while Augie Diaz (USA) jumped up from tenth to second overall.

Leaders finish Marion Bermuda Race:
(June 18, 2019; Day 5) – The Farr 63 Kiwi Spirit skippered by Jonathan Riley led the fleet across the finish line today to take elapsed honors in the 2019 Marion Bermuda Race, completing the 645nm course in 3d 13h 25m 13s. Eight of the 37 boats have finished as of 17:00 EDT including corrected time leaders Abigail (BB-52, Class A), Gallant (Navy 44, Class B), and Pinnacle (Tartan 4100, Class C). Details.
