Overall Winners Confirmed for Chicago Mackinac Race:
(July 25, 2016) – For the 318 starters in the 108th Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac, adverse weather kept 22 boats from completing the 333-mile race to the bar stools at the Pink Pony on Mackinac Island. The overall winners were Al & Bob Declercq’s 36-foot Flying Buffalo (Chicago-Mackinac Trophy), Ryan Johnson’s Sabre 402 Perico (Cruising Division), Transpac 52 Natalie J owned by Philip & Sharon O’Niel III (Mackinac Cup), and Ryan And Todd Howe’s Farrier F-25C Panic Button (Multihull Division).
