Belvedere, CA (September 27, 2017) – The fall season on San Francisco Bay can require patience, which is proving to be a needed attribute at the 2017 Etchells World Championship. Just like yesterday, day two required a lengthy postponement, but like yesterday, the late afternoon winds delivered two races for the 51-boat fleet. With many of the top teams carrying a score they hope to soon discard, the top Corinthian team of Senet Bischoff (USA) and his team of Ben Kinney and Clay Bischoff have thus far avoided the shockers to now also be the overall leaders. #13 Dartmouth College won the St. Mary’s Fall Interconference with impressive performances in both divisions. Sailed at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, the event marked the second major intersectional for MAISA (Middle Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association) as the fall season is now in full swing.
