Qualifying complete at Laser Europeans:
Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal (May 22, 2019) – Light winds returned for the Laser European Championship but conditions were suitable for two more races to complete a 6-race qualifying series for the Standard rig men and the Radial rig women. Olympic champion Tom Burton (AUS) posted a 2-1 to take over the men’s lead while Anne-Marie Rindom (DEN) continues her dominance with a 3-2 to build a 12 point lead in the women’s standings. Among the top North Americans, Chris Barnard (USA) moved up to 5th while Sarah Douglas (CAN) slid down to 6th. Details.

Skunked at 52 SUPER SERIES Menorca:
Menorca, Spain (May 22, 2019) – The forecasted light sea breeze failed to materialize today for the 11-boat fleet of TP52s at the Menorca 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week, and so racing had to be cancelled for the day. The standings remain the same with Azzurra (Alberto and Pablo Roemmers) leading the results table by four points ahead of Platoon (Harm Müller-Spreer) after yesterday’s two races. Details.
