Ramping up for Yachting Cup:
Over 80 entries from around Southern California are anticipated for the 45th Yachting Cup, a signature event for San Diego Yacht Club on May 5-7, 2017.
The 2017 Yachting Cup will feature Friday ocean buoy racing for the Pac52 and West Coast 70 classes with scores counting towards their Yachting Cup class standings. Other racers wishing to compete on Friday will sail for the Ton Cup, a random leg race inside San Diego Bay on Friday afternoon. Saturday and Sunday racing will take place on two venues out on the Pacific Ocean, and one in San Diego Bay.

Lightning Southern Circuit 2017:
St. Petersburg, FL (March 19, 2017) – The 2-event Lightning Southern Circuit got underway today as 40 teams competed in the Winter Lightning Championship. After four races in winds of 10 to 20 knots, Ched Proctor and crew Jeff Eiber and Tim King hold a four point lead over Marvin Beckmann with David Starck a point further back in third.
