All Viper 640 regattas are special occasions. A chance to catch up with friends. A time to relax and enjoy time on the water away from the office. A chance to see what crazy spinnaker graphics someone has added. But some Viper regattas are more special than others.
Everyone’s heart starts beating a bit harder at the North American Championship. A lot more boats. Folks you haven’t seen in at least a year. And in 2017, there is the added pressure of the largest regatta in class history, with nearly 60 teams from 16 states, 4 countries, and three continents to compete on October 25 to 28.

Good forecast for High School Singlehanded Championship:
The top 36 singlehanded high school sailors from around the USA will descend upon the St. Petersburg Yacht Club to compete in the 2017 Cressy High School Singlehanded Championship, October 28-29 in St. Petersburg, Florida. The participants will compete in two fleets of 18 Laser Standard Full Rigs and Laser Radials, with each sailor having earned a spot by qualifying at championship regattas in their respective districts.
