Red Bull Foiling Generation is Back:
After hosting competitions in 2015 and 2016, the Red Bull Foiling Generation returns this year to discover the world’s top youth sailors. Developed by sports directors Roman Hagara and Hans Peter Steinacher, the series gives wings to talented sailors aged 16-20 by introducing them to the extreme level of sailing at the top of the sport.
Olivia Mackay, who helmed New Zealand to win the Red Bull Foiling Generation World Final in 2016, has gone on to helm a wildcard boat in the Extreme Sailing Series, and at least 40 previous participants are currently in Olympic-class programs for Tokyo 2020.

Honoring Knowles at 91st Bacardi Cup:
Miami, FL (March 5, 2018) – The Star sailors opened their assault on the 91st Bacardi Cup in a breeze of 12 knots and flat sea, under the beautiful Coconut Grove skies and stunning Miami city backdrop.
Before heading to the race track, the sailors paid tribute to one of the Star greats, Sir Durward Knowles (BAH) who passed away aged 100 years on February 24 2018. Paul Cayard led the dedication and paying of respects by the Star Class family at 0900 hours today, ahead of Sir Durward’s funeral a few hours later in Nassau, Bahamas.
