The Royal Navy Sailing Centre 24Hr challenge took place on 12th and 13th July, within Portsmouth Harbour. Around 30 sailors and support crew kept 3 dinghies (Bosuns) constantly sailing throughout the 24hrs with the crews changing every 2hrs whilst the boats were moving.
Weather conditions varied over the course of the 24hrs, with stormy skies turning into an evening sunset, before the rain and winds struck to the latter stage of the event.
The event was to raise money and awareness for the RNRM Charity.
