Sailing Program Decisions for Paris 2024:
The future of sailing as an Olympic sport was a hot topic at the Rio 2016 Games, with extensive discussion as to what the Events and Equipment would be in four years.
The plan to continue with the same program from 2016 to 2020 had been previously approved, but with the International Olympic Committee putting on the pressure to balance gender participation and heighten fan interest, all bets were now off.

Courtois retains lead at WIM Series finale:
Tourville-la-Rivière, France (December 13, 2017) – The conditions turned blustery for the second day of racing at the International Bedanne’s Cup – the final event of the 2017 Women’s International Match Racing Series (WIM Series). But change of conditions did not deter local skipper Pauline Courtois as continues to lead the field. American Allie Blecher had a mixed day but remains in fourth at 9-5. Full report and video.
