You have invested the time and money into developing a team building event for your employees. You are set to believe that this particular activity is going to increase your team’s effectiveness through whatever means you have selected. More so, your goals are set and high. 3. If the approach is too generic it will lack any lasting value. This is particularly important if the event is done off the grounds. For example, if your group is heading to a golf outing, some may see this is just a way to get out of work. It may lack structure towards the goal that you are actually trying to accomplish.
4. It is critical to point out the importance of working as a team, not just a group. In a group, some may step up and take over, handling the event activities on their own for the entire group of people. On the other hand, a team must play to the goals of the actual participants. Each one needs to partake in the event, to make it successful.
