US Sailing Releases Athlete Selection System:
Portsmouth, RI (September 25, 2017) – US Sailing has released details of the athlete selection system for the 2018 Youth Sailing World Championship (July 14?21, 2018), which will be held in home waters at Corpus Christi, Texas. In seven of the nine classes, the selection process will consist of two well-established domestic youth regattas.

Ives Wins (Again) Cal 20 Champs:
San Pedro, CA (September 25, 2017) – The 56th Cal 20 Class Championships was held September 22-24, 2017. Although the Cal 20 has been out of production for 40 years, the class has a strong Southern California following. Racing was inside Los Angeles Harbor under flat water conditions. Last year’s Cal 20 Class Champions Keith Ives with crew Chuck Stevens won the Gold fleet with 23 points, a close one-point ahead of 2009 Class Champion Chuck Clay. Class veteran Stu Robertson finished third in the Gold fleet with 32 points. Tony Johansing won the Bronze fleet. Full Report.
