Variety of Courses at NYYC Race Week:
Newport, RI (July 14, 2016) – While the J/109 and Swan 42 fleets rattled off three more windward-leeward races on Day 2 of the 2016 NYYC Race Week at Newport presented by Rolex, the remainder of the 73 boats competing sailed a distance race around Conanicut Island.
Having grown up in Newport, Geoff Ewenson long ago lost track of how many times he’s raced around Conanicut Island.

More Starters for Pacific Cup:
(July 14, 2016) – The third of four starts for the biennial Pacific Cup got underway today for the ORR Division D fleet which includes four Santa Cruz 50s among the nine boats. Among the earlier starters, the Cruising Division is dominating the front of the fleet, with teams demonstrating the ability to both compete and enjoy ice makers and hot showers.
