VIDEO: Life of an Onboard Reporter:
Jérémie Lecaudey (FRA) shares what his life has been like as an onboard reporter for the Volvo Ocean Race:
“Sometimes you are wondering why you are on a sailing boat in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by people you don’t know. It is cold, it is wet, the food is sh*t and your pictures look horrible. Why, why, why? But meeting incredible people was my main reason to get on these boats. I wanted to get a slap in my face and I got that alright. I got to see the world like I have never seen before. After 8 months of racing I am on the way across the Atlantic to complete my trip around the globe on a sailing boat. Just like that.”
