Volvo Ocean Race: Vestas now repaired:
Auckland, New Zealand (March 5, 2018) – After its collision on January 20 near the finish of Leg 4 of the Volvo Ocean Race, Vestas 11th Hour Racing returned to the water today with a test sail anticipated later this week.
Damage to the bow kept the team from competing in Legs 5 and 6, with the boat shipped from Hong Kong to New Zealand for repairs and preparation for the start of Leg 7.

Hall of Famer Randy Smyth rescued:
(March 4, 2018) – Randy Smyth, one of North America’s top multihull sailors and a member of the National Sailing Hall of Fame, was rescued by the Coast Guard last night when his 20-foot trimaran capsized during the WaterTribe Everglades Challenge, a 300 nm Florida race from Tampa Bay to Key Largo.
